Developing your intuition is a matter, really, of developing your psychic abilities, of developing the five basic senses (sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch), and the sixth sense of “knowing”. Anyone can do this – literally anyone who wants to can develop their intuition/psychic ability. No magic is involved here – it is simply a matter of practice.
Learn to trust yourself, and trust your intuition. Start keeping a notebook or journal of some kind where you can jot down your intuitive thoughts. Write down your reaction to the thought, and whether you acted on it or not. You can then go back at a later date and see whether your intuitive thought came to pass, and whether the action that you chose to take was appropriate, based on that thought. Also note where you chose to not take action, and whether there would have been a difference had you done so. Our intuition is a gift, and we make it stronger by paying attention to it, and using it.
As children we were more than likely taught that intuitive thoughts were “daydreams”, and not things to be acted on. More than that, we learned to not mention our intuitive thoughts, as we were, directly or indirectly, being asked not to.
Pay attention to how your intuitive messages are coming to you, and learn to allow them to come through. They could be visions in waking hours, or dreams during dreamtime. They could be a scent that brings out a memory of some type, or a sound that you hear when no one else is in the room. It could be curtains fluttering when there is no breeze, or movement out of the corner of your eye which, when you turn to look, shows nothing there.
If you are strongly drawn to something, or someone, or, conversely, repelled by someone, or something, pay attention to this. If you are drawn to something, or someone, allow yourself to experience that association. If you are repelled by something, or someone, even when there is no reason, honor that thought and distance yourself from them.
Meditating every day will help you to relax your mind so that you can accept your intuitive experiences. Writing them down allows you to become a third party – to read what has happened, and where it led you. We all have intuitive/psychic abilities, and we can all develop these abilities if we wish to.
